7 MUST LISTEN to SONGS For Your MONDAY HUSTLE

Eye cleared!

The chilling is all over and it is time to continue the grinding. All too soon the weekend is done and MONDAY, the most hateful day of the week is here to remind us that we need to keep pushing.

Monday is the one day in the week that each one of us would do whatever it takes to get rid of.

Sometimes, we even go as far as allowing ourselves to wish for it to be added to the weekend.

Come to think of it, it would not make any difference; the hate would just be subjected to Tuesday.

You cannot blame us, the day is characterized by heavy traffic, busy schedules, lateness, a crisis with the only rainbow being the varied display from people.

This is the day where people flaunt their closets to work or whichever setting they go, new hairstyles come on full display, ‘the boys boys’ wear their latest sneakers, ladies adorn their faces with impeccable makeups, children of school-going ages show off their new bags and pencil cases, et al.

So you can potentially hate Mondays but you cannot dismiss how symbolic the day is in collective lives.

We just have not come around to admit it. Monday signifies a fresh start. Monday is a brand new day, a new week to get things done, a new week and new dawn assert yourself and see the direction you have to go in subsequent days.

It is believed that, once your Monday becomes messy, the rest of the days follow in a suit which means that you are likely to have a terrible week.

Agreeable, it is not easy getting through the day, most of us are half asleep on Mondays and the only thing that gets us through is MUSIC.

Today, we take a look at some of the great tunes you can listen to on Mondays, these songs serve as reminders that your grinding and hustling are seen and you would be just fine.

Have a listen below;• First Sermon- Black Sherif

• Second Sermon- Black Sherif

• Way too big- Burna Boy

• Sika aba fie- Kweku Darlington

• Slow down- King Promise

• Yesterday- R2bees

• Praise- Fameye

The Instrumental Role of the Talking Drum in Flowking Stone’s Career

The Talking drum called Dondo in Twi is used as a medium to relay information. It is called the talking drum because it mimics human speeches such as tone and emotions.

The talking drum plays a key role in some parts of Ghana as it is still used, traditionally to send information across the length and breathe of distances.

FlowkingStone has his unique way of doing music which most sounds confusing, barely audible unless you are really attentive.

Call him a tongue twister and you may be hitting home with it.

Flow sat down with KSM and explained how he picks cue from the talking drum and integrates them into the type of songs he does.

In fact, listening him to slowing put flesh to it and how he actually does it is exceptional.

Apparently, his lyrics are basically what the drum says.

The Food, Homely Feel and the Baes- 3 Other Reasons Why Wizkid Won’t Stop Tripping Ghana

At this point, we are safe to say Wizkid has made Ghana his second home. The only thing some of us are waiting for is for him to make the bold declaration.

Wizkid is always in Ghana, I cannot count the number of times he has been pictured enjoying himself as a homeboy.

I would not be surprised if there are fans out there that actually he is a born and bred Ghanaian.

Come to think of it, he looks it, with the inkings, the dashing looks and endearing appeal, we would not mind having him as one of our own.

Forgive me; I even forget to add that he does great and amazing songs as well. The Starboy is in back home as we may call it and this time around, he decided to hang out at the cozy Aburi with none other than legendary comedian and actor, KSM.

KSM recently launched his hotel called Cactus Creek, a beautifully convivial getaway.

He was seen posed beside KSM and fans are assuming he is here for an interview and of course blow off some steam.

Looking at how the place looks, he definitely won’t leave without having a personal feel and you know what that comes with?

A spike of booze, good food and some good TLC from the ladies— why do you think he repeatedly comes here?

Dude knows what he is getting so why not?

Tap your Feet, Nod Your Head, Move Your Shoulder and Enjoy This 7 Highlife Classics

I detest Thursdays!

For the single reason that people would wait for this day to come, go through your pictures on socials and dig the one from 1912, the most embarrassing of them all to tag you in it.

Reminding you of the life you lived years ago, of the person you were a few years back.

I know it is not all ills, I mean; it is good to be reminded of such photos that are why we safeguard them on our socials anyways, to use them as a yardstick to measure our progress or retrogresses.

Nonetheless, I am here to tell all those with such irritable penchant to quit, no bro send you people— we can find those pictures ourselves if and when we want to so stappppit!

That was just by the way, one other thing we have come to familiarize ourselves with on Thursday too is throwing back, entertainment wise, from music to movies to what have yous.

The Troski Story vs The Trotro Playlist

Trotro, also slanged as troski is the typical Ghanaian living bread. It is in fact a savior and sometimes, I wonder what myself and others would do if it did not exist.

Yes, there is Uber, there is Bolt and there is the talkative taxi driver but how many of us readily use this means of transportation on a daily basis. These services are employed on special days, any other day; I am always opting for a troski not because it is comfortable but because the ride can get interesting sometimes.

Almost always, there is someone bickering with the mate because of change, there a mother whose baby would incessantly cry until they arrive at their destination, there is that one person who is talking to someone on the phone and shouting as if he was on the sea.

Then is the sleeper, who sleeps comfortable as if they are in an airbnb, craning their necks unto with no iota of apology.

You could find the poke noses, who would make you feel as if you are sharing your phone with them, they want to see whatever thing that you are engaged on your phone and there is the petty, one complains about everything and nothing.

This is to highlight that; trotro is a stage where a lot of thing, interesting and annoying happens. The ride is always characterized with mixed emotions and one of the things that make it easier is plugging in your earpiece, closing your eyes and listening to soothing songs from your favorite artistes.

Sometimes, knowing what to listen to is not always easy— worry no more, Spotify has you at heart and has created the ideal playlist for your personal listening pleasure.

Enjoy and thank me later;•

Pito Conversations- Samini Showcases His Deep-rooted Love for This Delicacy on the Streets of US

Samini is a DC boy (Dansoman) but he definitely not lost from his roots. I guess once a Northerner, always a northerner is a not a sheer worn-out cliché.

The reggae dancehall artiste born Emmanuel Andrews is from Wa in the Northern region of Ghana.

The people from this region have diverse language, great food, a love for smocks plus more.

Do you know what else is synonyms amongst these people are? Is their love for Pito? A local drink that is brewed from fermented millet or sorghum served in a calabash outside the producer’s home where benches are sometimes provided for customers to sit, enjoy and have conversations that streams from all topics in the world.

Call it the local beer and you are not far from the truth. Samini is currently in the US, prepping for the Adonko Ghana Music Awards USA and he has been seen with a calabash in his hands, sandwiched between two friends enjoying what appears to be pito.

I mean we do know the content of what is in the calabash but it would be hasty to think it is millet porridge, which is also served in calabashes.

In subsequent post, he mentions that he never moves anywhere in the world without his pito which confirms that he was indeed enjoying the delicacy.

In 2011, the Linda crooner disclosed that he would be going into full time pito as for him; it is more than just a drink.

He said the drink sparks inspiration in him, aside from that, it is the only drink he was used to growing up as his mother prepared and sold some.

Evidently, the bond between Samini and pito is stronger than the bond of 1844, signed between Fante chiefs and the British government…
