Ever since the new year, 2021, it seems the Ghanaian entertainment industry has seen countless misunderstands. Currently is the Shatta Wale and Samini beef which seem to have been revived after a decade or so.
Besides the twitter trends, social media excitement, and the vibrancy these beef have created in the Ghanaian entertainment and media space, are the artists involved cashing any benefits from these back and forth?
Speaking on Zylofon Showbiz Agenda, the Lead Director Oneplay Networks, Nana Yaw Wiredu, said assertively that, these artists involved are milking the beef as well as content creators.
To him, the boost or increase in the numbers and eyeballs of these artistes involved in beef can be translated into money or directed to their money making ventures or main projects that have not garnered the attention as they want. Citing and example with teephlow and Medikal beef and his Phlowducation project.
To him any content creator or regular social media user who commented on these beefs one way or the other got some increase in views, page clicks or more followers from these beef.
This is why he is certain artists involved made money off the beef.
