SAD: Bishop Beatrice Dzandu -Hedidor from Ghana Passes On At 79

Founder and General Overseer Bishop Beatrice Dzandu-Hedidor, of the Upper Room Assembly, (Church) Tema has passed on.

This sad incident happened on Saturday, November 21, 2020 in Accra. 

Bishop Beatrice Dzandu Hedidor, 79, was an outspoken advocate of national peace, people’s mother, a great servant and believer of God who led lots of souls to Christ.

One of her advocacy moments was when she cautioned tolerance among presidential candidates during the general elections in 2016, where she also preached hope, indicating political change will impact positively on the country.

From a source close to the bereaved family, final funeral arrangements for a befitting burial in memory of their beloved one will soon be announced.

Ghanaian Reggae / Dancehall Act Ras Kuuku Urges Ghetto Youths to maintain Calm for a “Peaceful Election” in new video — WATCH

As the days draw closer to another election in Ghana, many artists have come out to preach the message of peace in diverse forms and platforms. 

Ras Kuuku, Ghana’s reigning “Reggae/Dancehall Artiste Of The Year” at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA 2020) has also joined forces to advise the youth against violence and unruly behavior before, during, and after the elections. 

He drops “Peaceful Election” which speaks to the youth to desist from any form of uncouthness and bad energy. He urges them to put Ghana ahead of any politician or political party. 

Ras Kuuku returned from the USA last week after spending a few weeks there working on his upcoming EP titled “Kwame Nkrumah”. Scheduled for release this December 2020

Sarkodie from Ghana Reacts to Kweku Smoke’s working with South Africa Rapper Emtee ahead of Snoop forever Album Launch – 5th December

Sarkodie, a colossus in the Africa rap space has reacted to the hard work young Rapper Kweku Smoke has put in his upcoming album.

Prior to the launch of his debut album, Snoop Forever, on the 5th of December, Rapper Kweku Smoke has been spotted in various behind the scenes videos leading to the release.

Departing for South Africa, Kweku smoke has been seen in some high budget music video shoot with Emtee and other celebrated rappers around the world featured on the album.

Like all fans of Kweku smoke, BET award-wining Rapper, Sarkodie, is also particularly proud of Kweku smoke for the hard work he’s put into his craft, especially in the snoop forever album. Reacting to a post from Kweku smoke, Sarkodie quoted that:

Hopefully, songs on Snoop forever become an anthem for Christmas soon after its launch on the 5th of December at BelAir Crest, Cantonment. Young Ghanaian rappers, especially Kweku smoke is making Ghana proud.

Africa Represents Heavy at the 2021 #GRAMMYs – Check Out the Full List.

The recording academy of the Grammys has announced nominations for the 2021 awards ceremony.

A lot of the artists and media had mixed reactions after the announcement. So while an artist like Dua Lipa was overwhelmed with her nominations, Burna Boy from Nigerian was super chill with the nokination in the global album of the year. “Snoop Forever” – An album by Ghanaian Rapper Kweku Smoke drops on 5th December

Young Ghanaian rapper, Kweku smoke, is all set to release his first body of work. The ‘Yedin’ hit maker will have his album launch on the 5th of December 2020 for his debut album titled: “Snoop Forever”.

The Album, Snoop forever is an all HIPHOP album. This project comes after releasing countless hit songs in Ghana such as ‘Yedin’ featuring Sarkodie, Apkye and Akata.

The album title was inspired by my late brother Snoop, who had some issues with Alcoholism and addiction. To me, this album will not only be in remembrance of my late brother but also increase awareness of alcoholism and addiction.

Ghana’s Dancehall Act Larruso represents at AC Milan and Roc Nation’s “From Milan With Love: Next Gen”

Young Ghanaian Afro-Dancehall crooner, Larruso joins line-up to perform at “From Milan With Love: Next Gen” Virtual Concert – an initiative by AC Milan and Roc Nation to champion emerging talent around the world.

The show which was held on Friday, November 20th at 8:45 p.m CET / 2.45 p.m EST / 11:45 a.m PST,  featured live performances, combining the aggregative power of music with the key values of sport.
