ORIGINALS: Ghana’s Kidi Gets Wyclef to Say Cheese After a Teddy Riley Remix-All We Know

Ghanaian song writer and singer Kidi just made some new friends from the Hip Hop and RnB music world. It looks like his Say Cheese song is gradually becoming the world’s most favorite Afro-RnB jam in recent time.

The Ghanaian born Dennis Nana Dwamena signed to the Ghanaian label Lnyx Entertainment owned and led by multiple award winning producer and singer Richie Mensah might just be getting started with his musical journey even though he has chalked countless hits already.

Kids got the world singing to his Say Cheese song during the Covid -19 era where the world was under lock down.

The MTN Ghana hit maker star had just released a new album titled: “Sugar” of which there was visuals to accompany it but it looked like the lock down brought out his afro-RNB side  (if we are allowed to call it that way) out so much that he had to bless his fans with another EP (Extended Play) he titled: “BLUE”.

On that amazing five (5) song EP has songs like Freaky Lord, End In Tears, Say Cheese, Next time I see you and one man. The world quickly settled on Say Cheese as their go to song out of the five and it became a chart topping song instantly.

As if that was all, Kidi had a massive endorsement from American Edward Theodore Riley musically known as Teddy Riley. Teddy is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist credited with the creation of the new jack swing genre.

This endorsement from T-Riley came with lot of praise from his colleagues like Okyeame Kwame because he knew the magnitude of that endorsement from Teddy.

The two (Kidi and Teddy) will then go on to do a remix of the song Say Cheese and it debut at number 15. Fans of kids could not hide their joy when he had that milestone for the song.

Now after almost six (6) months, the Ghanaian star has gotten another big jump with the same song, Say Cheese.
