American actress Scarlett Johannson filed a lawsuit against Disney as a result of a contract that was breached when they released the “Black Widow” movie.
Scarlett in her statement argued that she was denied potential earnings from the movie. Disney through their lawyers said they had fully complied with her contract and that her case “lacked substance”.
During its release, Black Widow made a record-breaking $80million ticket sales in North America and $78million internationally.
