“Our Politics Does not Understand Celebrities Endorsing Political Parties”- John Mahama Opens up about why he is not working with Celebrities this Election Year

Former President and flag bearer of NDC, John Dramani Mahama has come out to speak on why he is not working with celebrities during this year’s campaign period.

According to the NDC flag bearer the supporters of the musicians and celebrities does not understand the role of these people to a political party hence it goes along way to affect their careers.

In 2016, Ghana’s Ex-President also worked with a lot of celebrities from the likes of John Dumelo to Mzbel, Tracy Boakye just to list a few. These celebrities went from North to South and to West to campaign for the then-sitting president of Ghana John Mahama.

Also in 2008, the sitting president now, Nana Addo also used alot of celebrities during his campaign.

John Mahama was speaking on Star 103.5FM in Accra as part of his media tour ahead of December elections in Ghana. His comment comes at a time where two big names in the Ghan music industry have endorsed his opponent – Nana Addo.
