Nigerian Afro Pop Star, Joeboy has shared how he got to work with Mr Eazi. 

Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, the “Beginning” hitmaker said he used to record a lot of covers because that was an easy way of getting  the attention of people. According to him, not everyone knows who he was because he was just a young student who wants to make music. 

For him, he believed that when he makes covers of popular songs that people already know, the higher chances of people knowing him. He then recorded “Shape Off You” cover and put it out and people were really engaging and posting. A friend of his then sent it to Mr Eazi and he liked and commented on the video. 

Mr Eazi then sent him a DM with his number and that’s how he got to work with him. Please watch the video below:

Nigerian Afro Pop star, Joeboy has revealed the secret behind his huge YouTube views on hit song “Baby”. 

Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, the pop star stated that, first of all he will give thanks to God but he cannot really point out any secret on that. According to him, he loves to make music that feels original and he is thankful for how far the song has come. 

He also added that he actually loves the song. “Baby” now has 52 million views on YouTube. Please watch the interview and “Baby” music video below.
