For someone who rose to fame on the back of musical competition, Fameye has done little to nothing when it comes down to telling his story, barely recognizing how inspiring his journey has been.
As a contestant of Mtn hitmakers, Fameye rode on the publicity he garnered from the talent show and released his first single in 2018 which was an instant hit.
A story worth propelling, as some of the winners of many shows vanish into thin air the moment they are crowned winners.
Nothin I get right from the word to go portrayed the kind of person Fameye is and the direction he hoped to go with his music.
Fameye born Peter Fameyeh Bozah is heard in his song. His lyrics tend to subtly tell a story of where he is coming from, his humble beginning, constantly reminding others that there is a world out there for each one of them.
Until recently, his music took prominence of his fashion. He won’t be typically not the first person would go to for fashion advice albeit, he dressed decently.
He is in so many ways was driving at how relevant the message is and not necessarily the apparel he wore to deliver it and for that, he came under heavy criticisms.
It is unfathomable for fans and critics to accept that someone who has had the hit is still dressing anyhow with no tone style.
That aside, Fameye has continually lived to control the conversation. If these songs do not prove he is all about the message, we don’t know what would.1. Long Life ft Kwesi Arthur– Fameye teams up with Tema-based singer Kwesi Arthur on a solemn and thought-provoking song that delves into the minds of what we as humans dread the most that are the fear of death after we have achieved all the good things in life. This masterpiece was produced by bodybeatz. The song was released in 2020 with the official video.
2. Mati– On the beautifully crafted one, Peter goes straight into how people have formed the habit of backbiting and talking ill of people behind their backs. The video is shot in a ghetto which is probably symbolic of his life. He says he wishes everyone well, and regardless of what anyone says about him, he would respond to it. It was released in 2019 and mixed by Liquid Beatz.
3. Nothing I Get- this is the very song that shot Fameye to fame. This one is from an angle of self reflection. He hits hard on the single fact that he has nothing to his name so people better stop envying him. It was released in 2019 and produced by B2.
