Nigerian Rapper Olamide chooses Country over Album – This is WHY
On the 8th of October, Nigerian rapper Olamide released his 11th Studio album called Carpe Diem.
Carpe Diem is a 12 track album featuring Omah Lay, Fireboy DML, Peruzzi, Bad Boy Timz, Bella Shmurda and Phyno with production credits to Young John, Pheelz, P. Prime, Idcabass and VStix.
Unfortunately for Olamide, his album happen to have met the #EndSars and End SMAT protest currently on going in Nigeria.
The rapper’s 11th studio album was just about taking off when the whole Sars protect by the youth in Nigeria started and his fans had to focus on the protect because it is about their future they are securing.
A fan who felt so sad for the Nigerian star Olamide took to twitter to show his empathy with their favorite rapper Olamide.
The fan wrote to Olamide saying that they (fans) are so sorry they could not give the dope album some hype because of the End Sars protects.
Olamide responded by saying a better Nigeria over anything.
