For many youths in Nigeria, the fight for bad governance didn’t start today neither did it start yesterday.
The fight against bad governance in Nigeria started so many years ago and still the people are fighting for the end of bad governance.
Musician Zlatan Ibile has added his voice to the ongoing End Sars protests happening in Nigeria.
The Zanku hit maker who together with his friends led the Ghana version of the ENDSARS campaign has released a one minute song pouring out his disappointment and frustration.
In the song Zlatan opines that Fela Kuti (the Afrobeat Originator) has been fighting bad governance and police brutality so all these years when he was alive and yet nothing has been done.
Quoting the lyrics in the song, Zlatan who was full of pain when rapping on this new one minute END SARS song said:
“I was born on the 19th December 1994, and ever since I was born Nigerian government never gave a Fxxk. Fela died saying this, different president same old sh#t”.
The Youth of Nigeria including their celebrities have been protesting for close to a week and over asking their leaders to come to their aid by putting an end to SARS (A special Anti-Robbery squad) formed by the government.
Zlatan Ibile new song SORO SOKE, End SARS is one that tackles the issues in Nigeria heads on and hopefully will inspire young people to not loose focus but fight for a good course.
