One thing that distinguishes Sarkodie from his colleagues is his solid lasting brand. The Coachella hit maker gave a hint about his product lifecycle during an interview with Tilly Akua Nipaa on the Bold Convo Show.
“I am putting albums out because of the fans. There are ‘highs’ at every level. I am not really at that point. I see the fans still stuck in certain things that they want me to do. Vacations don’t work for me. I am a very hands-on type of person.
I panic whenever I take off and I hate that. The fans want me to do stuff that I don’t find fun personally. At this point, I wouldn’thave sleepless nights about someone wanting to have a song with me. Organically, if someone wants to do a song, yes we can do it.
The aggressiveness to do a song with someone isn’t there anymore. At this point, it’s more of what I can do to impact the industry. I need a new challenge”.
Sarkodie also passed a statement about his intention to go back to school. “I still want to go to school. I want to study law. I wouldn’t have thought about that years back, but I think it’s necessary when you know that you are getting there.
I care about the country and make sure that I am well equipped with information anytime that I am having a conversation.
As much as I want to speak, not having the right information will make people feel like you don’t know what you are talking about”.
