Ghanaian Afro Pop artiste Chrissy Phoebus Agbenu known in the showbiz industry as Xupa made a great remark for himself, his music career, and his fans at the 2021 edition of the Emerging Music Awards.
The award ceremony which took place at the Accra City Hotel is made to award emerging artistes who are using their craft and talent to propagate the Ghanaian music to the world.
Xupa who won Afro Pop Song of the year with his Number 1 song at the previous edition of the awards show was crowned Song Writer Of The Year with his ‘Tomorrow’ song featuring Tulenkey.
The multiple award winning musician talked about how life has been difficult at a point and how hopeful he is that his tomorrow will be great. This has earned him the award after beating other top contestants like Mawuli Younggod, Puncho, Buzu Wani, Wakayna among others to emerge as the winner.
The 2019 Volta Music Awards Hip life song of the year winner expressed his joy for the support from the general public. He therefore, urged music lovers to stream his current song ‘Criminal’ featuring Joint 77 on all digital platforms.
