I’m The Most Insulted Artist in Ghana, You Can Even Take Shatta Out; Sarkodie on the Bold Convo

Sarkodie has boldly affirmed the magnitude of hate and disdain projected on him by some Ghanaians either from the media or on social media. He made this revelation in the 3rd Episode of the BOLD CONVO hosted by Tilly Akua Nipaa.

Sarkodie spoke candidly that most of the songs off the No Pressure Album dwelt on the topic of “hate” because to him, he attributes his success to the desire to be successful because of the constant hate projected on him.  Sarkodie said that :

I’m the most insulted artist in Ghana you can even take Shatta out, people that are actually constantly trying to get you off the path that you on do that’s what inspires me

Touching on the theme for the No Pressure Album, Sarkodie said most if the songs were written when he was stuck outside the country with his family during COVID lockdowns around the world.

Sarkodie stated that “so what inspired the songs definitely was from black love my previous album and I think most of the songs came when I was in lockdown in the State”.

The third episode of the 4pack series on Sarkodie premieres on Oneplay Africa Youtube page today, Sunday, at 8 pm GMT. Click on the link to watch the promo:
