“I HAD MY FIRST BREAKTHROUGH AS A RECORD PRODUCER WITH TAGOE SISTERS’ SONG”. – ZAPP MALLET

  The “musical genius” as he is popularly referred to in the entertainment industry circles appeared on Yfm’s (107.9fm) Y Leadership board series show to talk about his achievements. During the show, Rev Erskine asked a question about his first breakthrough as a record producer to which he said Tagoe Sisters Song(Stay In My Heart) was the song that brought him to the limelight.

  He also mentioned Francis Adjei’s “Metwere Obotan Bi” and Hannah Marfo’s “ Nyame Di Neamabi Ahinta Yen” as songsthat he worked on when he came back to Ghana. Zapp Mallet is noted in Ghana for having so many hits in all the music genresand being the Godfather of sound engineering in Ghana.
